This year has truly pushed all of us in our capacity to be resilient and hold on to hopefulness for recovery in every facet of our lives. It seems we have learned some very positive things though- the importance of family and friends and what it takes to feel all right in the face of a pandemic and political unrest in our communities and country. More about gratefulness for our social interactions, physical contact and our own self-reliance.
We are thrilled to finally open our gallery for seven days a week from 11am to 5pm. We have heard from our visitors since our partial re-opening in July, that there is great solace in walking into the Edgewater space and slowly take in the dozen or so different types of art- photography, painting, wood tables and bowls, pottery, ceramic sculpture, assemblage and Angel kites. Many people have thanked us for the opportunity to take some space from the news of the day in the last year, and stroll through the gallery to look at the images that seem to bring some peace. Others have purchased photographs of peaceful ocean scenes, beautiful wooden bowls or paintings and report that they need to have some beauty in their homes or offices to deal with all going on in 2020.
Edgewater Gallery is opened every day from 11am to 5pm; we welcome several new artists and many new pieces of art, as we have been very busy working while quarantining. We look forward to seeing you.
